Chicken Run - 4 oz

My chihuahua, Pico, has out turned paws, which makes him more susceptible to arthritis and other joint issues as he gets older. He's currently only 3 years old and has no signs of joint pain, but I'm all about prevention! I made this treat with a very high quality joint supplement to help him maintain healthy joints and to possibly delay or completely rid his susceptibility to arthritis.

Chicken Run is based off of my Dragon Breath recipe, as it has cinnamon (anti-inflammatory) and herbs to help digestive health. I believe great health starts from the inside out. It also smells great! My husband and I taste test every recipe and he says this is the best tasting one yet. My chi's love it, so I believe they feel the same.

The joint supplement I use has been clinically tested with excellent results in as little as two weeks. It is formulated with a blend of herbs that are proven to support joint health and glucosamine. Keep in mind my treats are made as a preventative and supplement, not as a treatment of an existing condition.

All ingredients in Chicken Run are organic and human grade, except for Knox gelatin, which is human grade but not organic. The joint supplement and prebiotic are formulated for dogs and/or cats.

Ingredients:
Organic USDA Grade A chicken breasts (human grade), with every bit of fat trimmed, from chickens that are hatched, raised and harvested in the USA, organic Fuji apples (core, stem and seeds removed), organic coconut oil, organic parsley, joint supplement, organic cinnamon, Knox gelatin (human grade) and prebiotic for dogs or cats and organic rosemary.

These ingredients are minimally processed and dried at a temperature no higher than 160 degrees Fahrenheit to preserve as much of the nutrients as possible. These treats are slightly chewy. The size of the chips are approximately 5/8" x 3/4". Contact me within 24 hours of placing your order if you would like me to leave the treats in strips. Unless specified, they will be cut into chips.

Storage:
Following the storage instructions below will help to preserve the texture and color of the treats. I do not use any preservatives or stabilizers and the treats will become darker with time, if not refrigerated.

1 – 2 weeks
Store in a cool, dry location in the original packaging or in your own container. Airtight containers will help preserve the smell of the treats best.

2 weeks – 2 months
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

2 months or more
Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Bring to room temperature in the airtight container before opening. It will be less crunchy (if you have a crunchy treat) if you open the container before it comes to room temperature.
